This last weekend we bought three things directly baby related. First we had to get a rocking chair. We thought about getting a glider but for about a hundred dollars more we were able to get a Laz-e-boy recliner. It has three feet settings and allows you to recline until your feet are above your head. It also has awesome back support when reclined.
The next two items were a crib and a changing table. We purchased both these items from Babys R Us. The changing table has glass windows on the drawers and came fully assembled. I had to assemble the criib but it was pretty easy.

I’ve been working on formatting the blog and the gallery to match each other and to just plain look good. I’m starting to like the look of the blog. Any thoughts? The gallery has required me to get into the code and start hacking the templates.
I also took some digital photos of the house that I would like to integrate into the look and feel. After the blog looks write, I will steal the design for a newsletter and blast that out. That will probably get some people here. Until then, I feel like I am typing this to myself. Oh well, this whole entry took 17 seconds.

So after deciding to change web servers in order to better host the picture gallery and at some point host digital video files, I’ve decided to start a blog and change from joshkenzer.com to thekenzers.com. A blog is basically a web diary where a user - such as myself - can post updates as often as I might like.
With the new baby on the way, I thought this blog would be an awesome place to share stories, pictures and video of not only the baby, but the new house and the rest of my new family. When viewing any typed entry, photo or video, there are comment boxes. Feel free to post any comments. Others will be able to see your comments and respond to them. In this way, all family members can communicate with us and to each other.
I also plan on using my companies MessageMaker tool to do newsletters that will hopefully keep all of you coming to the site and participating. Lets see how it goes.
