Everyone is emailing and calling asking if there is any news yet. Not yet. The due date is still next monday so it could be any day. The baby has definately dropped so we are getting close. We will let you know when it comes…or check back here.

We received a Winnie the Pooh mobile for the crib. The mobile had a arm that attached to the crib, but this arm didn’t fit our crib. So Amy and I decided to fabricate one. Frequent viewers of Monster Garage and Monster House on the discovery channel, we thought it would be a breeze. It was a little more difficult than we had anticipated but I think it turned out fine.

Well, we finished our last childbirth class last night. We are officially ready for the final exam: having the baby that is. At our last class a pediatrician gave us some basic information on how to care for the baby in its first days and weeks. There was a kid’s dentist there also. They gave us these little finger cloths so we can “brush” the baby’s gums and stuff before it get’s teeth. Finally, they had a marriage and family therapist. It was actually a married couple who have a practice. They were hilarious and basically told us to talk, compromise, and have sex!!! Great advice, I’d say!
Well, only 2 and 1/2 weeks left!!! I’m counting down!

I traded in the Jeep for a more practical car. But since I am an uber geek, I had to get a car with a gmick. My new Toyota Prius is Half Gas and Half Electric Motor. No I don’t have to ever plug it in and yes I do get great gas mileage - anywhere from 40 - 60 MPG depending on where and how I drive.

Due to technical difficulties, I had to change servers. The database on the old server became corrupt and there was no way to get the old postings out of it and into the new server. Therefore, here are the links to the old posts:
