Well, Mayah officially has her first cold. She was up most of the night. She has this sad, heart-breaking cough and she is sneezing a ton. Poor baby doesn’t feel good, but it’s not serious. She is resting up and should be better soon.

We went to two parties this weekend. Both were parties held by people Amy goes to school with. One was an engagement party and one was in honor of Canada…no really it was.

It was interesting because in the grad program Amy is in, four of the students have babies all separated by weeks. Mayah is the oldest at 3 months. A baby boy named Matthew is about 2 months old. There is baby Johnathan who is around 6 weeks and finally a little girl - whose name escapes me (Annabelle)- who is 3-4 weeks old.

So at each party, there were babies everywhere, mothers feeding, dads changing diapers and everyone take turns holding babies.

These two photos are from Mayah’s first photo shoot. It went very well. We went to a place in the mall where we had a coupon for a free 8×10 and a free sitting.

We got the one of her in my hands for free and got them to give us the one in the basket for half price. You can’t tell in the photo but there was a black mark on the floor by the basket. I scanned in the photos and got Zach at work to photoshop out the black mark. Looks good.
