Thanks everyone for making this one of the best birthdays I have had in awhile. Due to the holiday on Monday, I felt like the star for four straight days and nights.

Friday I had lunch with Brian, Paul and Dave. Brian gifted me a 1998 El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme and a AF OpusX Churchill. Friday night Amy, Mayah and I went to PF Changs. Amy gave me a 20 count Haier Wine Cooler to store my cigars in - a truly awesome present. Mayah gave me $28 - One for each year.

Saturday, the gift my mom and Chuck sent arrived. I was worried it wouldn’t make it but was very pleased to open it. They sent a very nice Columbia shirt and a Casa Fuente Churchill cigar from the Casa Feunte store in Vegas. That cigar is only available in that store and will be great to smoke. The story of how Mom obtained it is great too.

Saturday night Nate, Ren, Chris and Joel came over and we shared some BBQ’d smoked ribs that I cooked in the smoker.

Sunday night we met Sharon, Jeff, Dylan, Dad, Barbara and Sid at Claim Jumpers. Sharon gave me a remote controlled airplane that will be fun at the park. She also gave me a book of great golf stories that I can memorize make my own
Monday we had dinner at our house with Joy, Bill, Maggie, Traci, Billy, Emma and Josie. They gave me a beer of the season membership. I will get 1 twelve back each season for a year - yum.

Its that time of year again, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, today I plan to have lunch with some friends at a Cigar Bar - Stingers. I am having dinner with Mayah and Amy after work but I haven’t decided where yet.

After wearing the temp for close to a month, I just had the permanent installed. It hurts but I’m glad to be done. No more dentist for 6 months.

Just got back from lunch at the Zone Cafe. The food was alright - as an old friend of mine would say, it was hippie food. I had the Smoked Chicken and Wild Rice Salad and ended up eating it like it was a lettuce wrap. Overall, too expensive for too small of portions.

Those were taken on my cell phone and sent via MMS to this site. That means I post them without ever getting online. Pretty Sweet. By the way, Emily took the butterfly shot. I think I took the sky shot just to test things out. Not sure where I was when the shot was taken.

Amy had a doctor’s appointment yesterday. Still not dilated but the baby is doing fine and everything looks as it should. I guess it won’t be as early as I thought but there are still 9 days until the due date.

I am changing from Movable Type on my own server to Blogger.com owned and ran by Google. This way I do not have to manage any software and the goal is to get rid of the server I have hosted here at work. With services like this, there is no reason to have the headache of server management. The photo gallery is still hosted on my server but I am working to move that to a different managed server.

The other advantage is I can post from my cell phone. So, when the new baby is born, I can snap a photo on my camera phone and using SMS (actually MMS), send it to my site for immediate posting. So if cell phone reception is adequate, the new baby will be on the site minutes after he is born.
