Twelve Horses had a company BBQ up at Sand Harbor at Lake Tahoe last night. The weather held up nice as it didn’t cool off until about 7:30 PM. The kids had fun playing in the water and Mayah made new friends with Sophia and Keltin. Martin played chef extraordinare and I think everyone had fun.

The Reno Hilton is no more.  They have taken down the signs on the huge hotel and the marquee that overlooks 395.  They have - as of today - replaced one sign with the Grand Sierra Resort logo which looks somewhat like a tribal tattoo.  I went to their web site and checked out the video (unfortunately the sites done in all flash so I can’t link directly to the video but click on The Property link at the bottom and then on video on the left).  It seems like its going to be pretty cool.  I am excited about the water park and the water light show.  I will post up pictures as they change the building.

Lately I’ve been thinking about getting an ATV/Four wheeler to cruise around the hills by my house on.  I’m not sure when I would cruise around or what kind of fun it would be, but I’ve been thinking about it.  Maybe by writing it down, it will pass?

For the second time we went to Marine World. You can read more about my perceptions here. It was a lot of fun and wasn’t too hot. We went with Sharon and her family and my Dad and Barb.

Here are pictures from our camping trip to Frenchmans Lake. This was the last time we went camping and was sometime in late July. We were all gung-ho to go camping every weekend but we have yet to go back. Arg!
